We visited Copenhagen with our son and daughter in law in March 2024. The weather was in the 40s and cloudy with a few quick rain showers the week we visited but that did not slow us down or keep us from enjoying the wonderful castles and palaces as well as some great shopping.
All of these were wonderful but perhaps the best thing about Copenhagen was the food! We had amazing Italian food at Barabba, seafood at Kodbyens Fiskebar, pizza at Baest, Smorrebrod at Selma, and wide variety of options at both the Tivoli Food Hall and The Olive Kitchen and Bar. Every one these were outstanding!
We stayed at the Nobis Hotel (Marriott) and walked almost everywhere, but the trains, metro, taxis and Ubers were easily accessible. Malmo, Sweden was a fun day trip on the train.
We don't normally use tourism cards, but the Copenhagen card included nearly all the sites we wanted to visit, was easy to use and included access to the local transportation system.
We definitely want to return to Copenhagen - most likely in the summer months to enjoy the city when its a bit warmer!
